Fred had contacted me saying he was coming down on vacation and wanted to kite with me. Sure enough when I met up with Fred on the beach to my surprise he is a 70 year old man. Fred and I had a wonderful kite session together and Fred is doing small jumps.  With some tips of mine he started to land them a lot better and I told him I was going to teach him a back roll. He has a few more days and I am excited to see him try a back roll and land them.

People have a big misconception about kiteboarding that it takes a lot of strength and so on. However my oldest student was a 68 year old man and my youngest was an 8 year old girl. Most people definitely have more strength then them so get out there and give it a try.

This sport is for EVERYONE!!!

St.Kitts Kiteboarding school is pleased to announce its latest addition to the team, Kara Statham. Kara is a young ambitious kite instructor looking to make her way on to the Kiteboarding Pro World Tour (KPWT).  Kara is from the U.K. and she speaks many languages. Kara has been teaching in Brazil, Venezuela and has been kiting all around the world giving her a lot of experience in all different types of conditions.
